Lo’s ex-boo is the reason Smith teamed up with Bomba Estéreo on “Fiesta (Remix).” Yesterday, Bomba released behind-the-scenes footage of their new music video, and the Fresh Prince talks about first hearing the Colombian group while hanging out with Anthony in Ibagué. He was so into Bomba that he approached them to collaborate.
For the first time in 10 years, he released new music, and he joined us in geeking out over the group. “Thank you for allowing me to bathe in your greatness,” Smith tells Bomba.

Now, he’s back in full force. In an interview with Zane Lowe, he said he has recorded 30 songs and plans to go on his first full tour next summer. “I’m pretty much poppin’ in the studio everyday and I’m looking for artists to collaborate with,” he said. “I’ve probably recorded 30 songs. I have six or seven that I really like.” And that’s how Will Smith took over 2016.
