After 10 groundbreaking years, Lisbon-based progressive bass act Buraka Som Sistema have announced what could be their final tour for February to April 2016. Comprised of Branko, Riot, Conductor, Kalaf, and Blaya, the quintet has released three albums and one EP in their 10 years together, successfully exploring the relationship between Angolan kuduro and other world-beloved genres. In addition, their highly-lauded 2013 documentary Off The Beaten Track successfully offered deeper insight on their creative process. There is no word regarding any new material prior to touring, since after April, the group will be on what is described as an “indefinite hiatus.”
