Caifanes & Café Tacvba Are Going on Tour Together – Here’s All the Info

Two popular Mexican rock figureheads are joining forces. On Dec. 11, Caifanes and Café Tacvba announced their upcoming joint tour in 2024. The highly-anticipated tour starts in Kennewick, WA, on May 29 and ends in Indianapolis, IN, on June 30.

 “¿¿Listos?? 🎹🎼🎸 #Taconazo #2024,” Café Tacvba wrote on their Instagram.

Produced by Live Nation, the 20-city tour will begin in Kennewick, WA, on May 29. It will continue to Seattle, WA (May 30), Reno, NV (June 1), Los Angeles, CA (June 5), Las Vegas (June 6), and Palm Desert, CA (June 7). It will also hit venues in Chula Vista, CA (June 8), Phoenix, AZ (June 11), Salt Lake City, UT (June 13), Denver, CO (June 14), and Albuquerque, NM (June 15).

The epic duo will continue to rock in El Paso, TX, on June 16. Then, they will perform in Laredo, TX (June 18), Edinburg, TX (June 19), Houston, TX (June 21), Dallas, TX (June 22), and New York, NY (June 26). The joint tour’s last string of shows includes Toronto, ON (June 28), Chicago, IL (June 29), and Indianapolis, IN (June 30).

Both Mexican bands are considered two of Mexico’s best within and beyond the rock en español realm. Caifanes, formed in 1986, is known for their popular hits such as “Perdi Mi Ojo De Venado,” “Los Dioses Ocultos,” and “Mátenme Porque Me Muero.” On the other hand, Café Tacvba, formed in 1989, is known for hits like “Eres,” “Ingrata,” and “Como Te Extraño Mi Amor.”

Tickets will be available through a Citi presale from Dec. 12 at 10 a.m. local time through Dec. 15 at 9 a.m. local time. Additional presales will be available before Dec. 15.
