Just posted on their Youtube channel this morning, Calle 13 has released an animated short for the newest single off their album Multi-Viral, the cinematic track “Así de grandes son las ideas.” The video was created over a 9-month period with stop-motion animation technique in a collaboration between animator and art director José “Quique” Rivera and René Pérez Joglar, aka Residente, who shares a fine arts background.
Calle 13 is currently on tour with upcoming stops at The Warfield in San Francisco on October 10th, and at the Supersonico Festival in Los Angeles on October 11th.
