It’s the end of the world as we know it and this might be my last post for Remezcla. Any minute now the asteroid rain will start and we’ll lose all communication. Next time you hear from me, if you survived the impact, it’ll be on a shortwave radio. I’ll be transmitting from my post-apocalyptic bunker while the cannibal zombies roam the remnants of civilization.
In the meantime, while we patiently wait for this prophesied armageddon, we can still enjoy a song or two. And what better song to celebrate the end of the Mayan calendar than this one, coincidentally released today by LA’s Captain Planet who, also coincidentally, happens to be on one of his music archeology trips in Guatemala, the land of the Mayas. That, if you still believe in coincidences.
I believe this is a just another sign of the planets aligning to mark the end of an era. Call me crazy but I think that weirdo with the crazy hair on Ancient Aliens was right all along.
