Argentine duo Cldscp (pronounced kaleidoscope) is back after a year and a half break with the subtly intense anti-folk collection of ballads entitled, El Almacén de Canciones. Cldscp’ passionate songs compensate for their minimal approach in regards of composing this EP. The duo of post modern Spanish troubadours have a keen sensibility on how to create soundscapes that are intriguing and innocently sensual.
El Almacén de Canciones (or The Song Shop) shows how Cldsp simply wants to share a collection of their music without creating too much fan fair.
This four-track EP is a joy to listen to, and if you love anti folk and freak folk, Cldscp does it best.
