We really don’t know what Congo Sanchez meant when he titled this track with that acronym, but in many places of Latin America, “teto” is kinda like a playfully dirty word. Though Congo is not from anywhere in Latin America, he’s actually from Washington, DC (where he frequently lends his drums skills to the likes of Empresarios, The Funk Ark and Thievery Corporation), so he doesn’t necessarily know that (or maybe he does?).
Thing is, “T.E.T.O.” was basically the best track out of Congo’s self-titled all-instrumental EP released earlier this year on ESL Music, and it makes sense that it was chosen by New York’s Chico Mann for his remix since it perfectly matches his unique style of Afro-Latin electro.

Check it out and next time somebody wants to trick you into a bad playground joke asking you if you wanna play teto, feel safe answering yes and simply play them this track.
