The Corona Capital Music Festival returns for its third installment once again in Mexico’s capital. What’s different for this 2012 edition of the festival is that the promoters have expanded the event to two days, October 13th and 14th. This year, Corona Capital will feature over 60 artists and will once again pair independent and established artists from Mexico and other Spanish-speaking countries with artists from its English counterparts. The Black Keys may be headlining, but the hype currently surrounds New Order and Franz Ferdinand as they’ve both come out of hibernation alongside the reformed Suede.

Other English-language heavyweights on the bill include James Murphy, DJ Shadow, Florence + The Machine, Unknown Mortal Orchestra and many others.

The Latin side will be supported by acts such Spain’s La Habitacion Roja, Mexico City’s Vicente Gayo and Hello Seahorse!, Chilean singer/songwriter Francisca Valenzuela, Monterrey-based Bam Bam, Guadalajara’s Los Impostors, Panama via Oakland’s Los Rakas and a bunch more. English language Latinos include Neon Indian, AraabMusik, among a small couple in there.

Pre-sale tickets will be available on August 8th, so keep checking the website. Dust off those passports!
