Schaffner, better known as Dani Shivers, dubbed our favorite lady in black, is indeed one of the most riveting femme fatales coming out of Mexico. Bringing us a unique brand of twee-goth/ witch house, Ms. Shivers taunts us with melancholic synth aesthetics and spooky drum n bass that’ll uncreepingly crawl right into our bloody thoughts. And “Graves,” off her forthcoming LP Jinx, is no filler single. In this featured video, directed by Sergio Valdez and in collaboration with Pan Rock Films, she teases with lollypop licks and cutsie stares that weaken knees of any innocent bystander, and well, I just can’t say.
