Graffiti used to be a “privilege” of the first world’s biggest cities. But since the ’90s and globalization of urban culture, it has spread out and it’s now flourishing all over Latin America and developing its own style in each country.

One spray-can art lover from Costa Rica recently put together a documentary about the graffiti explosion in Central America with amazing footage of colorful murals anywhere from Panama to El Salvador. You don’t even have to be a tagging or bombing connoisseur to enjoy this colorful flick.

The film’s soundtrack includes this ultimate anthem to Latin American graffiteros done by Ephniko, a Colombian rapper and Miami resident you might remember from this other track. “Aerosoldados” carries articulate rhymes, dope beats and real love for artistic vandalism. Kids, don’t try this at home.
