He filmed a dramatic commercial that confirms his suitability in promoting fine scotch.
The reason we’re hype for the brand collaboration, however, is the fact that the project is putting out an open invitation to producers to work with the singer — or at least, make a beat for him that has the potential to be heard by many, many people. Here’s how it will work (You have to be 21 or older to enter — and based in the United States). At some point between today, March 6 and Monday, March 20, snag the acappella vocal track that Balvin recorded for the contest from EsNuestroMomento.com and make a beat for it. Upload it to the website, then ask your crew to vote for your version between March 22 and April 7. The winner is going to be selected from among the top three finalists by Balvin himself, and the recipient of that honor wins a trip to the 2017 Billboard Latin Music Awards in Miami, plus a meet-up with their new artistic collaborator.
