Live music can sometimes feel repetitive. For us, who consider attending music events an essential part of our regular lives, it can sometimes feel like we see the same lineups over and over again. So if you, too, feel this way, then you’ll be happy to know that a new music event is happening in Texas this weekend that attempts to shake things up for Latinx music.

¡Eso Es!, a new initiative from Margin Walker Presents, is an Austin-based booking and promotion company that has hosted events like Fun Fun Fest. Today, it launches a series of events that will hit Texas for a span of four days. Kicking off in Houston – before going to Dallas, Austin and San Antonio – the event will host shows featuring the music of Neon Indian, Empress Of, La Goony Chonga, Luna Luna and Bidi Bidi Banda, the latter of which is a tribute to Selena. One of the central aspects of ¡Eso Es! is to build a community, something that will be reflected in every aspect of the event.
