After more than a decade, all original members of 3BallMTY are touring the U.S. again. On Mar. 5, the Mexican trio announced their upcoming La Vuelta Tour 2025 exclusively via Remezcla. The U.S. leg of the highly anticipated tour will start at the Sueños Music Festival in Chicago, IL, on May 25 and wrap up at the Brooklyn Monarch in Brooklyn, NY, on July 20. Ahead of their comeback tour, the group talked to Remezcla about what fans can expect, their recent experience at EDC Mexico with Deorro, and upcoming music.
Formed in 2009 by Erick Rincón, Sergio Zavala “Sheeqo Beat” and Alberto Presenda “DJ Otto,” the trio never stopped working together following their disbandment. Now, they’re finally hitting the road again as 3BallMTY. The last time the group toured the U.S. was in 2014 as part of the Honda Civic Tour. They’re coming back to show their audience what they’re currently up to after their massive No. 1 hit “Inténtalo,” and it’s more than their signature regional Mexican-infused electronic genre tribal guarachero.
“We are coming back recharged with a lot of new sounds, rhythms, and songs that we will be playing on the tour, especially because we want to make it clear – as you saw in our set at the Boiler Room – that we are very versatile DJs and we are willing to give good shows and also quality shows in the sense that there will always be something new in each show. Whether it is a remix [or] a new song that we will be presenting,” Sheeqo Beat says.

After kicking off the “La Vuelta Tour 2025” in Chicago, IL, the group will perform in Los Angeles, CA (May 31); San Francisco, CA (June 5); San Jose, CA (June 6); Portland, OR (June 7); and Phoenix, AZ (June 12). They will also perform in Dallas, TX (June 20); San Antonio, TX (June 21); McAllen, TX (June 27); and Houston, TX (June 28). Their last string of shows includes stops in Atlanta, GA (July 11); Nashville, TN (July 12); and Brooklyn, NY (July 20).
The three members recently got a taste of their comeback hype at EDC Mexico last month (Feb. 22) when Deorro invited the group on stage. “It was very exciting to hear people singing the ‘Inténtalo’ track, and it really gave us a lot of encouragement to continue on the road and keep producing and giving them more music and collaborations. The vibe was incredible, and I think the project is on the right track,” DJ Otto says about the experience.
3BallMTY is not only touring but they’re also working on new music this year. This includes an upcoming joint EP with Deorro and their fourth album. Although they don’t have a release date for either project, they share that they’re working on collaborations with Alexandra Stan (known for the hit single “Mr. Saxobeat”) and Dani Flow for their LP.

Overall, the group hopes to showcase more of their DJ side during this new tour and era. “We always dreamt of being DJs [for shows] more like EDC – more of electronic festivals… That’s what 3BallMTY wants to show, and that’s what you will see on the new tour,” Rincón says. “It is basically what you heard in the Boiler Room [set], a set that goes from tribal, reggaeton, to electronic music and many more genres. That is the 3BallMTY we had always dreamed of.”
