Ximena Sariñana‘s all-English sophomore album is surely paving her way to bigger and better musical fruition on this other side of the border as a best new artist, and we applaud her for it. Yet, don’t expect for this Mexican singer-songwriter to forget her Spanish so soon. Yes, we’re quite charmed by this pretty little lady, and in this featured exclusive video, shot in London’s Breakfast Club, we hear Ximena singing a bona fide and intimate set with guitarist Alex Wong. “Reforma” is from her 2008 freshmen album Mediocre, and is a beautiful and heartfelt, perhaps autobiographical, song that describes love in its vulnerable moments — the fear of loosing it, the insecurities that come with it, and those longing moments. This acoustic performance duo is sweet, soulful and enticing.
