Cardi B says the nude picture she shared on her Instagram Stories on Tuesday (Oct. 13) was posted to the public account on accident. Just days after celebrating her birthday in Las Vegas her 77 million followers had a quick glimpse at the artist in her birthday suit. The topless photo, of course, was quickly deleted.

The photo wasn’t deleted before some cowardly internet troll remarked on the size of Cardi B’s nipples with a comment that reads ‘why yo areolas so big.’ Women’s breasts change drastically during pregnancy and everyone has nipples so the commenter is simply ridiculous, sexist, and offensive with their remarks. Cardi B wasn’t having it and snapped back that she ‘breastfed a baby for three months! t**ties got bigger so nipples got bigger. Let me know if your daddy wanna get breastfed!’

Fans of Cardi B took to Twitter to share photos of their breasts in support of Cardi B, adding the hashtag #BoobsOutForCardi.

The “WAP” singer took to Twitter to address the not-quite scandal with a voice message saying, “Lord why the f–k you have to make me so f—ing stupid and retarded? Why? Why? Why? Why?” The 28-year-old rapper went on to say, “I’m going to eat my breakfast, and then I’m going to go to a party because I’m not even going to think about it. I am not going to think about it, ok? Nope, no I’m not. I’m not.”

In her explanation of the accidental leaked naked selfie, she took a relaxed approach and reminded her fans that she used to be a stripper and isn’t phased by showing off her body. Rumors started to swirl that someone else must have shared the nude but Cardi B was quick to address the fake news saying on Instagram Stories, “Nobody to be sued for. It was my f**k up…s**t happens.” She took full responsibility for the incident. Her privacy should be respected and the photo shouldn’t be shared.
