The dudes from Los Waves took that one slogan from that one airline very literally when they decided to get away from it all. They hung their hammocks on a beach in Portugal and decided to give a career in music a chance because what else are ya gonna do in Portugal besides cheer for Cristiano Ronaldo in the World Cup?
The result is Los Waves, a surf rock/pop trio working on a smaller-than-shoestring budget. From the sound of it, they made the right choice. Lead single “Darling” is a simple-but-fun summahtime tune that will have us all doing your beach blanket game of choice this summer.
