We’ve heard several remixes of Astro’s “Colombo” in the past, some good, some meh. Madrid-via-Guatemala’s Meneo, overachiever that he is, just gave us a two-for-one special to add to the “good” list. Apparently, Astro is Meneo’s favorite band (en castellano) and as he explains, “Astro made a song about some rabbits jumping around,” so this seemed like reason enough to create such a bipolar mix. There’s moombahton, tropical bass, some chillwave, and plenty of “hey na nas” to remind you why you loved Astro in the first place.
