Unless you discovered the internet last week (or you’re my mom), you’ve definitely seen lyrics videos on YouTube, so I don’t need to explain to you what they are (mom, don’t worry, I’ll call you later and tell you all about it over the phone).
Well, it seems that our friends in DF, Wagoner, were in a particularly snarky mood and decided to make a lyrics video that’s basically 95% instrumental. So, how exactly do you make a lyrics video of a song that has only three words (“I Hate Disco“) for lyrics? While tripping on acid they came up with the clever solution: write down every single onomatopoeia.
Since the repetitive “tu,” “ru,” “iiii,” and “uaa” all by themselves would’ve been kinda lame, they called a friend who does some kick-ass animation to visually recreate their acid trip and voilá, an epilepsy-inducing video that ended up being the best representation of Wagoner’s unique death-metal disco.
