For those unfamiliar with Nuevo Noise Live, the exciting concept unites Remezcla’s curatorial and storytelling strengths to become the go-to platform for what’s new and next in Latine music. On the latest edition, the event featured Bronx’s Afro-Latino and R&B bachata singer Chavi Leons, Dominican pop and electronic artist Mijita, and Puerto Rican jersey club and drill artist Bendi La Bendición—all of whom are emerging artists ready for the mainstream spotlight, brought to you first by Remezcla.

“As an emerging artist, it can be challenging to find spaces that give your music the space,” Leons said about the special performance. “I appreciate platforms like Nuevo Noise that allow me the opportunity to get my music out there. Algorithms favor trends, but as humans, art is subjective—we celebrate the art and creativity before it becomes popular.” 

Mijita echoed the same sentiment. “From the beginning, Remezcla has given me the space and the chance to showcase my art and my voice on their platform and hand in hand with their lovely staff,” she said about the experience. “Nuevo Noise is another beautiful example of that. To provide us with the space and the time to showcase our work and our talents with our community is something I will always do.”
