Two Cities, One Festival: H2O Music Fest.!

Univision has been hard at work reaching out to bilingual Latinos, and their next effort is no different. The company has recently announced the lineup for its H2O Music Fest., which promises to bring together Latin artists with English-language artists. What’s more, the festival will bring these artists together to audiences in two cities: Dallas and Los Angeles.

The Dallas lineup includes megastars such as Maná, Snoop Dogg, Calle 13, Ramon Ayala, Juanes, Yellawolf, Damian Marley, Prince Royce, Ozomatli, Tiësto, Weezer and more. The L.A. date has only a few acts on board so far: Chino Y Nacho, Alex Cuba, Paulina Rubio, Alejandro Sanz, Snoop Dogg and Romeo Testa but more will be added later.

I get the feeling that this festival was designed for those of you who thought that Quantic Y Su Conjunto Los Misticos’ cover version of Dr. Dre & Snoop Dog’s “Ain’t Nothin’ But A G Thang” was the greatest cover song ever conceived…which it kind of is!

The festival will be held in Dallas at the Cotton Bowl on June 9th and in Los Angeles‘ State Historic Park on August 25th. To purchase tix, click HERE. Check out the website for more details on the lineup.
