On Apr. 8, the Mexican corrido tumbado emerging star Peso Pluma debuted his live performance in the U.S. at the Toyota Arena in Ontario, CA. The rapper and singer wasn’t alone, though; he brought out special guests to join him during his highly-anticipated sold-out concert.

His first special guest was Grupo Firme’s lead singer Eduin Caz, who joined Peso for their collaboration “El Rápido.” Before performing, he called Caz an artist whom he cares for a lot in the music industry. During the performance, the two artists showed their charisma, cheering each other on and showing gratitude toward one another.

Another highlight of the night was when Peso brought out Eslabon Armado’s Pedro Tovar to perform their hit single “Ella Baila Sola.” The crowd cheered loudly as the duo performed their popular track, which gave both artists their highest charting entries on Billboard’s Hot Latin Songs (No. 2) and Billboard Hot 100 charts (No. 26), per Billboard.

Other special guests included the Colombian singer-songwriter Blessd, who came out to perform their collaboration, “Las Morras.” Peso also shared the stage with his opener, the Mexican rapper Alemán for their joint track “Deliver.” Moreover, the Mexican rapper Yng Lvcas joined him for their collaboration “La Bebe,” which gave Peso his first global chart top 10 on Billboard’s Global Excl. U.S. (No. 6) and the Global 200 (No. 7).

Though he didn’t bring out Becky G to sing “Chanel” with him, the Mexican-American pop star showed her support from the audience.

“Thank you Ontario 🖤🕸️🕷️ Thanks to all of you and my guests who made a family’s dream come true ‼️” the Mexican rapper wrote on Instagram after the exciting live performance. “This is just getting started.” Peso will continue his U.S. tour on July 7 at the Mechanics Bank Arena in Bakersfield, CA.
