The 2024 Premios Juventud was celebrated yesterday (July 25) at the Coliseo de Puerto Rico José Miguel Agrelot in Puerto Rico. This year, the exciting evening was hosted by Wisin, Lele Pons, and El Gordo y La Flaca’s Clarissa Molina. Together, they delivered awards to both emerging and established acts that make part of the ever-evolving Latine music industry.

This year, Peso Pluma and Karol G were the top winners. Each artist took five awards home, though they weren’t present to collect them. La Doble P won The Perfect Collab for his hit track “Bellakeo” with Anitta; Best Urban Track for his collaboration “QLONA” with Karol; Best Urban Mix for his collab “Quema” with Ryan Castro; Best Regional Mexican Collaboration for “LADY GAGA” with Gabito Ballesteros and Junior H; and Best Regional Mexican Album for Génesis.

The Colombian superstar also received five recognitions: Premios Juventud Female Artist; Girl Power for “Labios Mordidos” with Kali Uchis; My Favorite Dance Track for her collaboration “Contigo” with Tiësto; Best Urban Album for Mañana Será Bonito (Bichota Season); and Best Urban Track with Peso Pluma.

More winners include Xavi for New Generation – Regional Mexican and Best Regional Mexican Song for “La Diabla”; Ela Taubert won for New Generation – Female Artist; and Shakira won Best Pop/Urban Album for Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran. Moreover, besides music, Mexican influencer Wendy Guevara took home a trophy for Creator of the Year.

Notably, Los Tigres del Norte was one of this year’s Agent of Change honorees. They were recognized as “Legends of Song and Champions of Migrant Rights.” Other honorees include Anitta for “Powerful Voice for the Environment, Social Justice, and Cultural Expression,” and Pons for “Voice for Mental Health Awareness and a Champion Against Bullying.”
