Last night (Jan. 11), Shakira roasted her ex Gerard Piqué with the release of her “BZRP Music Sessions #53.” The Colombian superstar received plenty of support online from other Latine music artists and her fans. Shakira’s tiraera against Piqué also inspired some hilarious memes.

Shakira teamed up with Argentine producer Bizarrap for “BZRP Music Sessions #53.” She lyrically went in on Piqué, who reportedly cheated on her last year with his current girlfriend Clara Chía Marti. While singing about Piqué settling for less since their split, she also name-checked him in one of the lyrics. Shakira used wordplay with Piqué’s name and the Spanish word “salpiqué.” She also seemingly called out Marti’s first name Clara with the use of the word “claramente.” Shakira also came through with a strong message for women who have had their hearts broken like her. “Women don’t cry anymore / Women get paid,” she sang in Spanish.

Spanish singer Alejandro Sanz, who worked with her on 2005’s “La Tortura,” tweeted out a howl in support of Shakira. (She howls on the song’s chorus while embracing her “She Wolf” persona). Mexican singer Carla Morrison also showed her support. “A goal from the queen Shakira,” she wrote. Dominican singer Tokischa reposted the empowering lyrics about women getting paid. Fellow Colombian singer Goyo of ChocQuibTown reposted Shakira’s lyrics about changing a Ferrari for a Twingo with a laughing emoji.

Shakira’s fans also had a ball with the memes they created after the song’s release. One fan on Twitter reposted the part of the video with Shakira singing about “salpiqué” with the Pope holding it up. The lyric about women getting paid trended on Twitter last night. One meme featured the lyric with a scene from Family Guy of Lois Griffin putting on her lingerie. Another meme imagined Piqué and Marti’s reaction to the song was like Maddy from Euphoria discovering a school play was based on her. Lastly, another meme featured Shakira morphing “La Rata De Los Patas” singer Paquita La Del Barrio.
