Here Are the Latine Winners at the 2024 Billboard Music Awards

The 2024 Billboard Music Awards results are in! On Dec. 12, the award show not only featured Fuerza Regida as the only Latine performer, but it also recognized some of the biggest names in Latine music, including the aforementioned Mexican-American group, Bad Bunny, and FloyyMenor.
Fuerza Regida took home two trophies tonight. They won for Top Latin Duo/Group over Eslabon Armado and Grupo Frontera. They also won Top Duo/Group, up against blink-182, Coldplay, Linkin Park, and Stray Kids.
“First of all, we want to thank all the fans, thank you guys very much, we really appreciate you guys,” Jesús Ortiz Paz, aka JOP, said while accepting the award. “You know we’re making history together… We’re the best group right now in the world.” He also thanked his record label, StreetMob Records. Later on the show, the Mexican-American band performed a medley of “PERO NO TE ENAMORES” and “NEL.”
Another Latine artist who had a big night was Bad Bunny, who won three categories. The Puerto Rican superstar won Top Latin Artist, Top Latin Male Artist, and Top Latin Album for nadie sabe lo que va a pasar mañana.

Moreover, the Top Latin Female Artist went to Karol G, who won over Shakira and Kali Uchis. The Top Latin Touring Artist went to Luis Miguel, over Bad Bunny and Karol G. Top Latin Song was awarded to FloyyMenor and Cris MJ for their megahit “Gata Only.” Other artists who were nominated for the latter category include Peso Pluma, Karol G, and Xavi.
This year, the most-nominated Latine artist was Bad Bunny, who was up for six awards. Karol G was the most nominated Latina, with five nominations. As for non-Latines, Zach Bryan, Taylor Swift, and Morgan Wallen were the leading winners this year.
