This is not a drill: Belanova’s finally back! Following their four-year hiatus, the Mexican electro-pop group officially kicked off their Vida En Rosa Tour with three sold-out shows in California.

The band’s first three shows, which were in San Jose (Apr. 24), Inglewood (Apr. 26), and San Diego (Apr. 28), gave fans a taste of what its highly-anticipated Vida En Rosa Tour is all about. They went through their discography, playing popular tracks from their iconic albums like Fantasía Pop (2007), Dulce Beat (2005), and Cocktail (2003).

The band not only sang their hits that cemented them as one of Mexico’s most popular pop groups of the 2000s, but they also added another nostalgic touch with covers of Juan Gabriel’s “Amor Eterno” and Selena Quintanilla’s “Como La Flor” during their electrifying performance.

The setlist began strong with hits like “Me Pregunto,” “Niño,” and “Tus Ojos.”  Throughout their set, the band also performed their heartfelt songs like “Toma Mi Mano,” “Hasta El Final,” and “No Me Voy A Morir.” A unique moment was when vocalist Denisse Guerrero chooses several fans dressed in her most iconic looks to join her on stage for special recognition as she sings “Mariposas.”

Towards the end of the performance, the synth-pop trio takes their listeners through memory lane with bangers like “Por Ti” and “Baila Mi Corazón.” “One, Two, Three, Go!” and “Rosa Pastel” were also part of the grand finale.

Belanova started dipping their toes back into the tour circuit with performances in massive festivals like Bésame Mucho in Austin, TX, and Vive Latino and Tecate Pal Norte in Mexico this year.

Up next, they’re scheduled to perform in New York, NY (May 8), Rosemont, IL (May 11), El Paso, TX (May 24), and Phoenix, AZ (May 26). In June, they will also perform across Florida, Georgia, and Texas.
