Eden Muñoz’s Como En Los Viejos Tiempos Tour has officially kicked off. On Aug. 16, the Mexican singer-songwriter started his tour at the Majestic Theatre in San Antonio, TX, giving fans a glimpse of what to expect during the highly-anticipated trek.
Fans can look forward to Muñoz singing hits spanning across his albums from Calibre 50 to his solo work. He starts with throwback Calibre 50 hits like “A La Antigüita,” “Amor Del Bueno,” “Culiacán Vs. Mazatlán,” and “Aguaje Activado.” He also performs the band’s “Gente Batallosa” (originally sung with Banda Carnaval) and “Simplemente Gracias.”
After this, the singer does a digital roulette called “La Ruleta de Homenajes,” where he pays tribute to iconic artists and composers depending on where it land. During each show, he will cover different artists like Marco Antonio Solís, Chalino Sanchez, Selena Quintanilla, Juan Gabriel, Joan Sebastian, and Valentin Elizalde.
Muñoz also features other Calibre 50 songs like “Ni Que Estuvieras Tan Buena,” “El Tierno Se Fue,” “Corrido De Juanito,” “Qué Tiene de Malo,” and “Javier El De Los Llanos.” He’s also known to cover classics like Banda Pequeños Musical’s “Voy A Danzar,” Banda Maguey’s “Eva María,” or Chocolate’s “Mayonesa,” depending on the city he goes to.
Beyond Calibre 50, the tour’s setlist includes his solo work like “Como Quieras Quiero,” “Te Perdonaría” (originally sung with El Frizian), “Soy De La Calle,” “Bájale,” and “La Nena” (originally sung with COSME TADEO). Other popular hits featured include “Como En Los Viejos Tiempos,” “¿CÓMO TE FUE SIN MÍ?” and “Consejos Gratis.”
He also sings his popular collaborations like “CCC” (originally with Michelle Maciel and Panter Bélico), “Money Edition” (originally with Fuerza Regida), and “Abcdario” (originally sung with Junior H).
