Our favorite Argentine-Swede José González and his new band, Junip, have just released a video for “In Every Direction,” a great track from their equally great debut Fields (via P4k). Director Elias Araya, also the group’s drummer, took his father’s artwork and collaged the entire clip, like a kaleidoscopic homage in grainy effect. No José. No Elias. No nothing. There’s a darkness to the song, illustrated by the dim colors and somewhat hollow images, centered around singerless microphones and José González’s always emotive voice. It’ll get stuck in your head.
