There have been whispers in the past few weeks about a possible new collaboration between R&B artists SZA and Kali Uchis. Well, just this morning (Jan. 27), SZA shared a five second video where you can clearly see Uchis writing, while sitting behind her, in a purple lit room.
Much to our disappointment, the video has no sound, but just that little snippet is sending fans into a tizzy.
The post cements what SZA revealed on Twitter in a tweet on December 20, when she was asked by a fan about possibly collaborating with Uchis. “Ya lo hicimos” was the St. Louis native’s response.
Fans of both artists have been eagerly awaiting more news on what the song may sound like, while some believe that the collab might be a remix of Uchis’ “Fue Mejor” due to the two singers interaction on Uchis’ Instagram post possibly teasing it.
Whether the clip was simply a recording from the collaboration SZA tweeted about or something new, we have yet to find out. But the confirmation is making fans of both artists very excited for what’s to come.
