Karol G is still making history with her latest album Mañana Será Bonito. On July 24, Live Nation reported that the album’s Mañana Será Bonito Tour broke Taylor Swift’s record for selling more than 240,000 concert tickets in Spain. The Colombian superstar reached this milestone by performing four nights at the Estadio Santiago Bernabéu in Madrid (July 20 to 23).

The Mañana Será Bonito Tour is Karol’s biggest concert tour yet. Besides surpassing Swift’s record in Spain, her European leg sold over 415,000 tickets during the summer. Consequently, it’s now the largest Latine European tour in history. According to the tour’s press release, the overall tour sold more than two million tickets and grossed $300 million. Moreover, she broadcasted her final tour date on YouTube (July 23), which garnered over 4.5 million live viewers and peaked at 1.1 million views.

During her last show (July 23), the singer left it all on stage. She performed for almost three hours, singing throwback songs like “Ocean” to her newest merengue “Si Antes Te Hubiera Conocido.” Before singing “Ocean,” she gave a speech about the importance of the tour and how it helped her find self-love and life purpose. She talked about how she realized her purpose is to help others feel the way she does. She also wore her multiple iconic hair colors to represent her journey through her different eras thus far.

In her final tour dates in Madrid, she shared the stage with artists like Bad Gyal, Cris MJ, Ryan Castro, Dei V, Sech, and Tiësto. One of the biggest moments was when she invited Amaia Montero on stage to perform La Oreja De Van Gogh’s “Rosas” on July 21.

Up next, Karol G revealed she’s still writing music but doesn’t have anything scheduled after her tour. “I’m just doing music because I love doing music, and I’m going to finish this tour and I’m going to be away for a while. I am going to let life surprise me with what’s next,” she told Elle.
