Karol G is officially on tour! This past weekend, the Colombian superstar kicked off her “Viajando Por El Mundo TropiTour” with two nights at Soldier Field in Chicago, IL. The weekend concerts (July 24 and July 25) gave fans a preview of its highly anticipated setlist, stage layouts, and official tour merch.

Karol is taking her epic Coachella production on the road. After an intro by the legend Edward James Olmos, the star opens with “Latina Foreva,” setting up the Tropicoqueta vibes from the start. Then, she sings “Un Gatito Me Llamó,” “OKI DOKI,” “Tá OK (Remix)” (originally sung with DENNIS, MC Kevin o Chris, Maluma), and “El Makinon” (originally sung with Mariah Angeliq). She also performs “S91,” her latest album’s title song “Tropicoqueta,” and the showstopper “Papasito” on top of her larger-than-life, colorful macaw structure.

Karol’s sensual vibes continued with performances of the sultry “Ivonny Bonita” and throwback hits like “Pineapple.” She also sang “A Su Boca La Amo (Interlude),” “Gatúbela” (originally sung with Maldy), and danced to Daddy Yankee’s iconic “Rompe.” She also performed “Amargura,” “Tu Perfume,” and “Dile Luna” (originally sung with Eddy Lover).

Karol’s high-energy performance continued with “Bandida Entrenada,” “Ojos Ferrari” (originally sung with Justin Quiles and Ángel Dior), “Una Noche en Medellín” (originally with Cris MJ and Ryan Castro), and “TQG” (originally with Shakira). There was a DJ remix of “A Ella,” “X Si Volvemos” (originally with Romeo Santos), “Amiga Mía” (originally with Greeicy), and “Provenza.” More songs on the setlist include her top hits “Bichota” and “Tusa.”

Her last string of songs includes “Milagros,” “Coleccionando Heridas” (originally with Marco Antonio Solís), “Si Antes Te Hubiera Conocido,” “Viajando Por El Mundo” (originally sung with Manu Chao), and the reveal of her newest song “Matadora.” During the second show (July 25), she sang acapella snippets of “FKN MOVIE” (originally with Angeliq) and “Cuando Me Muera Te Olvido.”

The  “Viajando Por El Mundo TropiTour” featured two stages. The main stage is a cave-turned-club theme, which she debuted at Coachella earlier this year. The second stage is a water stage featuring Karol and her crew dancing and getting wet in a pool. The spectacle also highlights a huge macaw that ties into her Tropicoqueta theme, as well as pyrotechnics and fireworks. Karol also has multiple, vibrant outfits throughout the show.

Fans also shared a look at the tour’s exclusive merch options.

The “Viajando Por El Mundo TropiTour” will continue on Wednesday (July 29) in Toronto, ON.
