Kryone cooked up something delicious with his EP, Olhos Negros. Founder and owner of the Mexican-based label, PIRA.MD that just oozes of electronic hip hop tracks, Kryone went all south of the equator on us and infused his beats with Brazilian carioca, raps, rhymes and funk. Every track gives you a blink-and-you’ll-miss-it intro, Olhos Negros specifically sounding like M.I.A.’s Bucky Done Gun, that leads us into, well, whatever Kyrone wants. There’s some trap-tinged-tropicaliente beats, high-hats and lots of bass. If this is the future, I’m feelin’ it.
