As if with a strum, the ’90s continue to be channeled by the likes of Búho, here to remind you what made guitars awesome during that decade. Búho is a San Antonio power trio that collects noisy interpretations of six-stringed expression.

The band features members of other outfits such as Yoshimoto, MASSIVER, The Ground, and Perpetual Heat. Grating chords that feel warm and energetic complement a pleasant but energetic voice that drive around an unusual song arrangement. “Night Clinics” is angular and urgent, with waves of feedback that color a standout track from their self-titled album, released on Crowquill Records.
