It’s been quite some time since we’ve heard new material from Argentine producer Chancha Via Circuito. Of course, there’s that collaboration with Barrio Lindo they dropped some weeks ago. And we all got excited when we heard one of his tracks serve as the soundtrack to one of Walter White’s adventures on the last season of Breaking Bad. But he hasn’t really released any new material of his own since the Semillas EP (2012, ZZK.) The wait is finally over!

“Coplita” is the first single from his upcoming album Amansara, out in September this year. The song has everything we’ve loved about Pedro Canale’s music since the beginning– he still delivers mystic and trance-inducing electronic pieces, inspired by South American folklore’s melodies and instrumentation. The track features a vocal contribution by his longtime collaborator Miriam García, whose voice will transport you to rural Argentina. The beats are crisp and very detailed, and the production is spot-on, with a dose of certain elements that enhance the magic of the song every time they appear. It’s great to have la Chancha back.

Amansara is out September 2014, but you can preorder “Coplitas” on 7″ now via Wonderwheel Recordings.
