Fantasmes’ “The Shadow Self” keeps steady like the dreariest spaghetti western you’ve ever heard or seen, replete with trotting percussion and lilting, thin vocals. The band’s new material, Thralls to Strange Withcraft EP, will see the light of day on April 15 (via Last Bummer Records), their first batch since 2012’s painfully good Redness Moon.
