Listen: Furland's "Corazón Típico" [MEX]

When did Furland turn into a Latin boyband? The D.F. group is back with a new single, “Corazón Típico,” a lyrically cliché-riddled, synth-pop tune soon-to-be-out via Starbucks. We get some simple-but-heavy bass lines and spotty disco elements but none of these are earth shattering enough to make up for the lackluster vocal harmonies and lyrics. It’s all too…packaged. It’s like they were told to suppress their usually genuine musical instincts. There must be a Mexican Lou Pearlman lurking around somewhere.
