Junip, the Swedish trio led by Argentine-Swedish singer José González, keep things chill and loose in their music, often embracing a distant and un-fussy sound that rarely feels uninvolved or off putting. Their upcoming EP, Walking Lightly, drops September 17th on City Slang and Mute Records. It follows the band’s sophomore album (released in April) and sounds just about Junip-y enough.
