If disco pop’s your jam, then you probably worship Spain’s Linda Mirada. Her second album, 2012’s Con mi tiempo y el progreso, is an unabashed homage to the ‘70s, ‘80s, and their glittery legacy. Lovemonk has now released a five-song remix EP titled Lío en Río—the title of one of the Con mi tiempo y el progreso tracks—featuring old remix hands like NYC’s Phenomenal Handclap Band, LA’s Secret Circuit, Russian duo Simple Symmetry, and fellow Spaniards Daniel Kyo and Sabore Bicoro. These songs are fun as hell on their own, but the remixes really amp up their danceability.
