I’m still on a Spanish indie music binge…[crunch]! Luckily, I can gorge on more tunes and you can too. Weeeeeeeee!
The lovely Spain-based singer Linda Mirada’s label Discoteca Oceano (previously home to El Guincho & Joe Crepúsculo) joins forces with the indie label Lovemonk (nominated for UMI’s Best Indie Label). Their unification made possible three amazing new chill wave remixes: Nite Jewel’s remix of her hit single “Solo,” Part Time does “Tokyo” and Ruby Suns for “Hermosilla.” Mirada’s music mixes ‘80s-esque pop and Spanish boogie with hints of synth-pop and Italo disco. The labels claims this collabo is “Hotter than two bears fighting in a forest fire.” Sounds pretty hot to me.
The talented Madrileña released her debut China es otra cultura in 2009, and just last month, she dropped the four-track 12″ titled Fabuloso San José. Stream all four tracks below from her latest below:
