Chile’s Miss Garrison proved how impressive they are with their 2013 album, deAaB. To hit the nail on the head they’ve released this two-track EP titled Land of Aloha, recorded at Converse’s Rubber Tracks Studios in Brooklyn.

Both tracks expand on what deAaB started: post-rock elements with devastating synths and big-but-quiet outbursts. There’s some throwback Cranberries essence sprinkled over the opening title track, mainly due to vocalist/drummer Francisca Straube’s breathy wailing—which is always a selling point—and the track’s mid-chorus alt-rock detour.
