After releasing the original solo version last month, the song is the gift that keeps on giving. Natti Natasha and Tokischa don’t want you to stop on their steamy new collaboration, “No Pare Remix” (Sept. 21).
The new remix marks the first time the two Dominicanas link up to collaborate. On “No Pare Remix,” Tokischa’s newly added verses crank up the heat over a reggaeton beat as Nasty Nat and the Popola Presidente sing about hot and heavy encounters they never want to forget.
The pair were also spotted recording the music video for their collaboration in the Villa Francisca neighborhood of Santo Domingo, D.R. Based on some of the teasers, this new visual might be too hot to handle.
As two of the most streamed Dominican female artists, this collaboration is really special for the pair. “I had a lot of fun with her. She’s a complete artist, who doesn’t care about anyone’s opinion, only her own. I loved that it’s authentic, and that’s reflected in the song,” Natti said about Toki via press release.
And Tokischa is definitely reciprocating the love. “Natti is iconic. I listened to her when I was a teenager, and now I have a song with her,” she said. “It’s an honor, and I loved the energy. I liked the song since the first time I heard it, and I’m honored that she shared it with me.”
“No Pare Remix” is part of Natti’s upcoming album, which is said to include a mix of her recent hits, including “La Falta Que Me Haces” and some yet-to-be-released cuts.
Meanwhile, Tokischa will be opening up for Colombian songstress Kali Uchis for the West Coast leg of her Red Moon in Venus Tour through Oct. 3.
