No Fucks’ “Vegetal Tropical” was one of my favorite songs of 2013, even though it, sadly, did not make the Remezcla end-of-year cut. But I listened to it way more than the healthy amount. So now I have a new No Fucks track to fuck with, even if it isn’t quite as perfect as its predecessor.
“Summer Sun” is a suburban teenager’s anthem, a rebel yell of the most mundane things. It’s a song anyone can relate to (even Anglos, it’s in English!) because haven’t we all, at some point, snot-nosedly yelled at our parents: “Why should I go to school?” OK, maybe not all of us. Some of us really liked school and had pretty good relationships with our parents.
