Mora is officially entering the MCU. Out today (June 5), the Puerto Rican singer-songwriter’s latest track, “Ansiedades,” is part of the deluxe edition soundtrack for the highly-anticipated film “Spider-Man: Across The Spider-Verse.” Despite the presence of other Latine artists on the soundtrack, such as Becky G and Myke Towers, “Ansiedades” is the only all-Spanish language song.
“Ansiedades” pays tribute to the Puerto Rican heritage of the film’s protagonist, Miles Morales. The all-Spanish language song is about the highs and lows of a relationship from Morales’ perspective toward his love interest, Gwen Stacy. The track slings from an emotive synthpop track to an upbeat dance floor stomper.
“I can’t stop listening to ‘Ansiedades’ by Mora, it’s a banger,” wrote one fan on Twitter.
“Looking for someone to dedicate ‘Ansiedades’ by Mora to,” wrote another fan.
“The song ‘Ansiedades’ by Mora from the Spider-Man soundtrack, talks about Miles’ feelings towards Gwen through it’s lyrics and I want to cry,” wrote an emotional fan with a crying cat meme.
Last week, Mora made a surprise appearance on Sky Rompiendo’s new single “El Cielo” with Feid and Myke Towers. The Puerto Rican star is currently wrapping up the European leg of his Paraiso Tour, where he’s set to perform in Spain, Italy, and Portugal. Later this summer, Mora will begin the Estela Tour in Latin America when it kicks off in Mérida, Mexico, on Aug. 24. The tour is set to visit major cities in Colombia, Dominican Republic, Chile, and Ecuador, among others.
