Listen: Pedropiedra's "Pasajero" [CHL]

“Pasajero” is the planetary-minded first single off Pedropiedra’s upcoming October release, Emanuel. The lyrically inventive Chilean composer has kept his solo efforts quiet since 2011’s Cripta y Vida, as quiet as touring and promoting and collaborating can be. But “Pasajero” moves in more straightforward ways; no talk rapping, no big choruses or whistling or clapping. Still, plenty of synths and nostalgic guitar solos, plus sing-along-worthy lyrics that favor the journey over the destination.
