Black Panther: Wakanda Forever fans, rejoice! It’s been a big week for Black Panther fans – not only was the Mexican actor Tenoch Huerta’s role in the upcoming sequel confirmed, but now we also have soundtrack news. Mexican rapper Santa Fe Klan will also be part of the project, with his hard-hitting track “Soy” featured in the Marvel film, set to release on Nov. 11.

“I feel very happy to be part of this very badass project with @marvel @blackpanther for the movie ‘Wakanda Forever,’” the Guanajuato, Mexico-native said in an Instagram post. “Thank you very much to all of you that always supported me.”

He continued, “The truth is that without you I would be nothing! You can already listen to the song on all digital platforms!!! Somos la santa carnallll 🔥 VIVA MEXICO.”

Being part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe is clearly a huge milestone for the artist. Other artists featured in the freshly unveiled Wakanda Forever Prologue EP include Tems on “No Women, No Cry” and Amaarae on “A Body, A Coffin.” Tems’ track was featured in the first trailer of the upcoming film.

It’s exciting to see the Latine artist part of the highly-anticipated movie sequel. A Twitter user said: “Santa Fe Klan’s music being in a movie this big is a dub for Mexico.” Another Twitter user is thrilled to see the Mexican presence in both Tenoch Huerta’s newly confirmed role and Santa Fe Klan’s music appearance.

It’s shaping up to be a groundbreaking year for Santa Fe Klan. Apart from this accomplishment, the “Debo Entender” rapper recently received his first Premios Juventud nomination and win for the category of Nuevo artista en el género Regional Mexicano [New artist in the Regional Mexican genre]. This year, he also released “Luka” and “Quédate,” which form part of his upcoming album.
