The smoldering and heavy Spatial Moods is a bluesy alt-rock band from Lima. Their music is heavily influenced by American blues legends like Stevie Ray Vaughan and B.B. King. But, like other budding musicians in the Lima underground, Spatial Moods mixes their influences by embedding electric guitar feedback and reverb to form a psych-blues hybrid.
The band’s self-titled LP is a gutsy, beautifully crafted album that proves how much the Lima rock scene has matured. Listen to it below to see what we mean by Peruvian prog-Americana.
