After a year filled with solo project shenanigans (e.g. I Can Chase Dragons, Fishlights, etc.), The Plastics Revolution are back together with a new release.
“Natsuko” isn’t a complete surprise; the band teased its writing/recording process last year on their Instagram profile. Now, finally, we can all enjoy the fruits of that labor and gorge ourselves on the synth-pop deliciousness of it all. It’s a bit of a misnomer to call it synth-pop, but because this baby packs more melodic guitar à la Real Estate, plus the sounds of a few orca whales. Hey, whatever works!
