Jorge González, best known as the singer and bassist of seminal Chilean band Los Prisioneros, was hospitalized this past Saturday night, moments after cutting his set short in the city of Nacimiento in Chile. The cause was a small stroke he suffered a few weeks ago.
According to reports, González noticed he had trouble with his motor skills for some time and decided to check himself into the hospital where he was later properly diagnosed. He was admitted to the Clínica Universitaria de Hualpén in the Bío Bío Province. Management has stated that the singer is in stable condition and expected to make a full recovery, since the stroke was mild and diagnosed early.
