If you attend a Luis Miguel concert, you probably expect him to be suave in a suit of some kind. You probably don’t expect him to be aggressive, but that’s what happened when Luismi performed in Panama’s Centro de Convenciones Amador.

On Tuesday, as he performed “Decídete,” Luis Miguel kept gesturing to the sound technician, very clearly letting him know he was unhappy. At one point, he stopped singing and with a smile on his face walked toward the wing. He then seemingly chatted with someone, though the camera doesn’t capture who it is, before he chucked his microphone. All you hear is a thud as the mic made contact. An eyewitness said that things go ugly and bodyguards had to separate them.

Another video shows that during a separate part of the concert, Luismi swung his arm back, as though he planned to throw the mic, but he didn’t release it.

It’s not the first time he’s had an issue with a sound technician. Back in October, he was visibly upset with a sound technician when he performed at the Auditorio Nacional de Mexico. He screamed at the person, and he also threw the white flowers that his fans had given him, according to El País.

Several people who went to the concert in Panama had complaints about Luismi’s performance, from those who said that he barely sang to others who said that he shouldn’t blame the sound technician for putting forth a lackluster performance.
