It wasn’t long ago that we introduced you to Brazil’s Maga Bo and his Quilombo Do Futuro. Now this guy doesn’t really like wasting any time, apparently. While the official debut album is still super fresh and he keeps on releasing videos of it, he just put out this new collection of remixes! True, here at Remezcla we can’t get enough futuristic brazilian beats, but this might be a bit too soon, we’re still digesting the previous one.
Anyway, for the new release, simply titled Quilombo Do Futuro Remixed, many familiar names showed up to lend their producing talents. Among them we found the whole frontline infantry of ZZK Records: El Remolón, Chancha Vía Circuito and Frikstailers (the Frikstailers’ track is probably the best of them all, and they are giving it away as free download!). Other remixers include New York’s Uproot Andy and DJ Sabo and Denmark’s Copia Doble Systema, all of whom are recognized as top-notch producers in the global bass scene.
The remixed compilation is out now in digital format and there’s rumors about some vinyl release in the works… DJs and record collectors, be on the lookout for this one.
