Maluma isn’t known for an unassuming personality, but taking over a major travel hub to announce a career move is a new level, even for him. But that’s exactly what he did when he surprised travelers and fans at Miami International Airport to perform a few selected songs from his catalog.

The Colombian singer treated passengers to some of his biggest hits, including “Según Quién,” “Felices Los 4,” “Hawái,” and “Loco X Volver.” The surprise appearance culminated in the announcement of his upcoming global tour, which is set to kick off on February 5, 2027, in Bogotá, Colombia.

The venue choice fits Maluma’s current era. Inspired by his seventh studio album, Loco X Volver, the tour centers on returning home, reconnecting with one’s roots, and celebrating the people and places that shaped you. On this trek, the reggaetonero will come full circle with new experiences for himself and his fans.

While not all dates are confirmed, some details will excite fans. Following the opening concert in Bogotá, Maluma is scheduled to perform two consecutive nights at Buenos Aires’ Movistar Arena on February 19 and 20, 2027. His official tour website also lists destinations across Latin America, including Mexico City, Monterrey, Guadalajara, Puebla, Querétaro, Veracruz, and San Luis Potosí.

The North American leg will include cities such as Los Angeles, Toronto, Montreal, New York, Miami, and Chicago, while the European and African itinerary features destinations including Madrid, Barcelona, Paris, Berlin, Lisbon, Milan, and Rabat. Additional dates, venues, and ticketing information will be announced later.

With more than 60 cities on the itinerary, the LOCO X VOLVER WORLD TOUR 2027 marks perhaps Maluma’s most ambitious endeavor to date.
